10 Biological Observers¶
Scope¶
Biological observers convert environmental signals into organism-specific responses. Relevant examples include the human eye, retina, photoreceptors, compound eyes, polarization-sensitive vision, echolocation, and other sensory systems.
Entries in this family should follow the shared Observer Grammar.
Observation Layers¶

Relevance to xPRIMEray¶
Biological observation motivates explicit receiver models and reminds computational systems that a rendered pixel is not perception itself. Future observer declarations may describe spectral response, acuity, field of view, adaptation, or sampling, but no biological equivalence is currently asserted.
Biological models would require extensions beyond the current preview camera and measurement contracts. See Project Glowing Heart.
